Background and Objective: According to recent studies, improvement of spiritual skills and applying religion in behavioral sciences will effect on mental health of humans. This study was carried out to investigate the effectiveness of teaching spiritual skills on absolution of third-grade female students in Babol’s Mehre Sabz conservatory high school.
Materials and Methods: This study used semi-experimental method and applied pre-test and post-test scheme with control group. The study population was the 34 third-grade high school students who were studying in Babol’s Mehre Sabz Conservatory high school. The students were assigned into two groups by a two-stage method, namely the control group and the experimental group. The first group was an available sample of students of a conservatory high school, and the other was using the cluster-sampling method. The samples answered interpersonal absolution questionnaires as a pretest, and then, the spiritual skills educational Course was performed in 8 sessions for experimental group. In post-test stage, both groups had answered the questionnaire for one more time again. Data analysis carried out by using SPSS software and covariance test.
Results: The results showed that the ratio of F (Fm=26.7) that had been obtained for agent group is bigger than that of critical F (Fc=15.4) by a confidence level and significance level of 95% and 0.05, respectively. This shows the meaningful effect of teaching spiritual skills on interpersonal absolution in experimental group.
Conclusion: Based on our findings, it can be concluded that teaching spiritual skills can be used as a suitable approach that aims to promote the interpersonal absolution among students.
